Our Curriculum
The Learning Tree celebrates the whole child and fosters social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
Lessons are structured around the Illinois Early Learning & Development Standards to promote Kindergarten Readiness.
"Jolly Phonics" Literacy Curriculum is a motivating, multi-sensory method for teaching foundational literacy skills.
Math instruction is geared towrard fun, enganging experiences which promote foundational skill and concept growth.
S.T.E.A.M. explorations foster curiosity, innovation, and problem-solving.
"1-2-3 Magic" Classroom Behavior Management empowers students to develop the self-awareness and self-regulation necessary to be successful in a classroom environment.
Faith-based songs, prayer, and chapel time are incorporated to help establish the building blocks of Christian belief. We want kids to know that God made them, God loves them, and Jesus wants to be their friend forever.
Gross motor playtime is provided daily either in our gym or on the playground to give little bodies an opportunity to grow and develop.
Heath and Safety programming educates parents and students alike on relevant issues like Fire Safety, Stranger Danger, Hand Washing, and Dental Health.
