Remote Learning for Preschoolers

This year especially, many families are chosing to educate their children at hime.  Preparing a preschooler for kindergarten however, can be a daunting task.  The Learning Tree would like to come alongside families to offer our resources, experience, and expertise.

All the Benefits of an In-Person Class:

  • Students will be assigned a designated teacher and set classmates.

  • This teacher will provide individualized attention to get to know your child and his/her abilities.

  • Kindergarten Readiness Assessments will inform parents of their child's successes and struggles.

  • Parents will be invited to a Parent/Teacher Conference each semester to review a child's progress.

  • Together, families and teachers will compile a cumulative portfolio to paint a complete picture of a student's knowledge.

  • Teachers will plan thematic lessons in accordance with IL Early Learning Standards.

  • Pre-prepared packets of materials will be available for pick-up bi-weekly.

  • Digital materials will be presented in the easy to use SseeSaw app.

  • Parents may commit to one semester at a time in case circumstances change.

  • Remote students will be given "top of the waitlist" privilege for returning to in-person learning.
